Strange thing in Vista

Well this is something I really cannot explain. It just happened.

So, I was working on my PC and a small programs wants to update. I let it and the system reboots. It logs on back to Windows and...surprise: Every icon was gone, the sidebar was back on with the calendar, notes and clock and the start menu was 'clean'. If I didn't knew better I would have said it looked like a fresh OS install. And I'm like..'W00t?'.

I accesed the desktop through explorer and all my files, icons etc where there. But not on the desktop :)) So restart the computer. Everything went back to normal.

It works but....damn.
