Backwards

Everything in this country is going backwards.
Example number 1: Recently on the hallways at the University there were installed 3 garbage bins: one for paper, one for plastic and another one for others.
The question is, why put 3 different bins when the janitor comes with one giant plastic bag and put everything in it. In the end, the garbage arrives mixed up!
Example number 2: I've installed Visual Studio 2008 and afterwards checked for updates with Windows Update which also searched for other products as well. The funniest part is that I receive one update - Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Office 2007. Let me tell you a little secret. I DO NOT have Microsoft Office installed on this computer. I have it on the other. But still, I continued with the installation because of curiosity. What do you...it DID install successfully. At least that's what is said.

Jeez. Both in the same day. What's next? Push the play button and the music stops?

I really like watching wars. Not the WW1 or 2 stuff, but more like...price wars!
The best example would be between Nvidia and AMD/ATI. A few days ago I really wanted to buy a new graphics card. I practically had to choose between GeForce 9600gt 512mb or the Radeon 3870 HD 512 mb. The Radeon was a bit more expensive and was starting to lose ground in front of it's 'enemy'. After only 3 days, AMD/ATi decided to announce lower prices for the Radeon 3000 series, including thus the 3870 AND another, this time silent' price cut. Awesome! Of course, those changes wont be seen here so fast but I believe in about a month or so it should. Now waiting for nvidia to reply :).

The funniest part is that, for now, I'm not even going to buy a new gpu.
